Thank you for your E mail of today, I am pleased that you have contacted me prior to entering into any transfer of funds.
We have a Police Officer with the Cleveland Police named Lightowler and we are aware that his identification has been obtained and is being used fraudulently. In some cases the identification Documents have been altered (to quite a high standard) to read Raul Hightowler, Peter Lightowler, Paul Towler and more recently Paul Hightower & Paul Light.
Yours is the latest of numerous notifications of such activities and investigations are ongoing into these matters. I am sorry to say that this type of crime can be perpetrated from anywhere in the world, often an Internet cafe, irrespective of where they state they are!
The Scam attempted, where a person asks to be sent a copy of a western union receipt is a typical fraudsters ploy to be able to use the data on the receipt to withdraw the western union deposit from anywhere in the world.
Cleveland Police have made Interpol aware of these frauds and you are advised to inform your local police if you wish to do so. There is no requirement for you to forward any further documentation to me.
The people offering to sell this car are NOT PC Hightowler, Hightower, Lightowler or Towler. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY or enter into any business with them.
